Finca Muleta de Ca S'Hereu
Amidst the Tramuntana Range with fantastic sea and mountain views.
The location of this magnificent Finca is quite simply awesome. A building with its roots back to 1672 is perched high on the mountainside overlooking the Port of Soller. The views through the Olive Trees straight out to sea are never to be forgotten. The price you pay for this glorious opportunity to stay and enjoy this unique place is the journey! The narrow, winding path has many twists and turns before you reach the house and a small car is recommended. For those that don’t want to navigate this road the hotel provides a shuttle bus down to Campo Sol and will take you back up the road when you are ready.
The Muleta de Ca S’Hereu is very well known and loved for being the comfortable stop for lunch or drinks when walking the Route 221. The back entrance to the hotel is minutes from this path and welcomes weary walkers to stay a while every day. The hotel is open from 11 am until 4 pm for coffee, home pressed orange juice and snack lunches. A beautiful menu can be arranged for lunch for groups of more than 8 if booked in advance.
This is a wedding venue with a difference as its size and location mean that groups often hire the whole place and have the party they want for their wedding. There is no-one to disturb but a few goats and donkeys so the music can play for as long as you like. There is a room in the entrance hall that is very Chapel like and is often used for wedding blessing ceremonies.
Twenty-two people is the maximum number of guests that can stay in the hotel but the grounds and patio areas make it a venue able to accommodate up to 75 people for functions.
The Muleta was the centre of the olive productions of the area for centuries and the olive press remains as a wonderful reminder of the history of this very special place.
Many groups come to the Muleta as a retreat away from the commercialisation of life. Yoga groups and Mindfulness courses are often held here and people return home energised by their important Tramuntana mountain experience.
The Muleta de Ca S’ Hereu welcomes you to enjoy the many ways of enjoying this building and the exquisite surroundings. This place has been in the lives of the current owners for generations and they all look forward to welcoming you.
