Birdsong was complemented by the distant tinkling of a bell around the neck of a goat who scampered amongst the dry, brown grasses. These memories guide our dreams to a perfect sleep.

The photograph can’t show the smells (the flowers and fruit especially) and the sounds, the goat’s and sheep’s bells, the donkeys braying, the chiming of the bells and the cicadas constant buzzing. It all makes the whole place feel special, we arrive and feel as if we’re home.

I simply love the hotel, the town, the setting and the views. I feel I can fully relax in Soller and the views of the mountains are very important in achieving this.
