Sara, the owner, always greets us as old friends and during the Covid-19 lockdown this store has been more essential than ever before. We both felt this was the most meaningful to us during the lockdown, as it not only showcases the shop but also highlights the essence of La Lluna and Soller itself...Thank you to everyone in Soller from the bottom of our hearts. We love you and we love Soller....

Birdsong was complemented by the distant tinkling of a bell around the neck of a goat who scampered amongst the dry, brown grasses. These memories guide our dreams to a perfect sleep.

Photo Credit: Victoria Preston - The deep blue sky, the mountains, the old stone buildings and colourful flowers are things we love and miss when we are not there. The photograph can’t show the smells (the flowers and fruit especially) and the sounds, the goat’s and sheep’s bells, the donkeys braying, the chiming of the bells and the cicadas constant buzzing. It all makes the whole place feel special, we arrive and feel as if we’re home.
