S‘Ardeviu
Beautiful Boutique Hotel in the centre of Soller
Over the years S’Ardeviu was palatial family house and home to a much loved priest Bartolome Rullan Xumet. He was a son of the house who gave his career and life to the people of Soller and St Bartholomew Church. Many pictures and memorabilia can be found about him in the house and in the Museum of Soller.
Isabel and Xisco are the hosts of S’Ardeviu today and it was their vision fifteen years ago that changed this beautiful home into a traditional style Mallorquin Hotel. The attention to authenticity is augmented by all the comforts and conveniences that today’s travellers expect. The house is beautifully warm in winter and air conditioned in summer. The Arab garden with its playing fountain is a surprise and a plant filled paradise where guests can enjoy breakfast and sit and dream the day away.
The location of S’Ardeviu is wonderful for those looking for a real Mallorquin town house experience. From its situation in a pedestrianised alley way minutes from the City centre the traveller would never guess what is behind the door. On Saturdays Soller Market meets the guests at the door and is part of the charm of the location.
S’Ardeviu is home to the painting holidays of Malferien who have been painting here every October for the past 10 years. The group take over the hotel and use the garden for their classes and painting experiences. The ten day painting holiday ends with an exhibition and many visitors view the work of this talented group.
Isabel and Xisco of S’Ardeviu look forward to welcoming you to a real Mallorquin home in the centre of Soller.
