The Classical Music Festival of the Port de Soller is celebrated evey year. As Autumn arrives in the Hidden Valley of Soller it is known by all music lovers that this prestigious music programme is not far behind.
The Church of Port de Soller is a wonderful location, with fabulous acoustics to enjoy this yearly event.
The pianist Alexander Malter is the artistic director of this concert series and has been associated with the music of the Port since 2005. In addition to this he is also artistic director and co -founder of the concert series held in the Schloss Glienicke Castle in Berlin. He brings to the Port of Soller a wealth of musicality, knowledge and experience which the concert series have benefitted from. He is a performer and a recording artist of note and enjoys bringing the music to the Port of Soller.‘Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent’– Victor Hugo’s words are the mantra that surrounds this Festival of Music.
