The English Walking Guide
Guided Walking Tours in the Serra de Tramuntana
The English Walking Guide is the answer to many visitors’ questions. They arrive in Mallorca keen to walk the trails yet are uncertain about the routes and the degree of difficulty. Possibly they want to explore less travelled paths. Maybe a great guide should be their companion for their adventures in the Serra de Tramuntana?
Jeremy Leaning is a registered mountain and walking guide with the Consell de Mallorca (TA/88) who specialises in providing immersive and informative guided walks for individuals and groups throughout the Serra de Tramuntana. The emphasis is on the nature, history and contemporary life of the island while exploring the most dramatic mountain scenery with a few amusing anecdotes along the way.
Jeremy first discovered the mountains of the Tramuntana in 2013. He explored them on frequent visits over the next four years and completed the GR221 trail from Andratx to Pollença. In 2017 he gave up his legal career in England and moved full time to the Soller Valley. He worked for two years as a guide for a prestigious local company before establishing himself as an independent walking guide.
Jeremy offers both private and group walks as well as multi-day treks throughout the Tramuntana. They range from easy walks for the less experienced, through intermediate to the tantalisingly difficult. He is delighted to share his love of the mountains and the pleasure of exploring them.
During the winter months Jeremy leads a group walk every Thursday, weather and numbers permitting. Please refer to the link for details. He is also available for walks on other days.
